Bethesda, Maryland Bat Mitzvah
I met Deanna and her family years ago. Her brother Benjamin was a guitar student of mine. I was so honored that the family asked us to provide Bat Mitzvah photography for Deanna. I was also super impressed when her Benjamin played his guitar during the ceremony. It was amazing as his teacher to remember when I was teaching him how to hold the guitar without dropping it and now here he is playing difficult classical guitar pieces in front of a large group, like a pro!
Kids grow up so fast, one minute you’re rocking them to sleep and the next you’re watching them drive off with friends. It’s so easy to forget the little moments and the major ones if they aren’t captured. Don’t leave these kinds of events up to your friends and guests with nice cameras or the latest Iphone. Hire a professional that knows how to capture these moments so you and your family can cherish them for generations.
They had her ceremony at their local synagogue in Bethesda and then move to the Mansion on O street in downtown D.C for the after party and lunch. If you’re not familiar with the mansion, it’s very cool. They have tons of historic guitars on display from famous players in just about every room. The building is a couple of buildings all connected by normal hallways and several secret passages. It’s a kids wildest dream. You can enter the library, find a secret door and end up in the kitchen.
We’re looking forward to photographing her brothers Bar Mitzvah next! If you’d like information on photographing a Bar or Bat Mitzvah for your family please get in touch!
